My little guy has figured out how to take photographs of himself on my phone.
Enter about a bagillion selfies magically appearing on my phone.

Mother of Four

Last September I flew out to Charleston to visit my brother's family. Rob and Linds were heading to Colorado for Rob's 10 year reunion (I still cannot believe he's been out of college for TEN years.  I mean, when did we all get SO OLD?!) and I got to babysit while they were gone.

Yup, thats right.  One five year old, one three year old, a set of one year old "twins," a mildly neurotic dog and me.  It was fabulous.  It was also exhausting.  I might also mention mildly chaotic at times.
I loved it.  I loved being surrounded by such beautiful little souls.  Sure, life is really crazy when its just you with a ton of kids, but it is SO FULL.  Full of joy and laughter and squeals and hugs and love.  Even with the compounded mess and chaos and tears and whines and moments when I felt like poking out my eyes, I just felt so overwhelmingly blessed to be a part of these children's' lives. They make my life so rich.
